Phillip Stephen Parker

Classical Composer & Pianist

Bio:

Phillip Stephen Parker graduated with Honors in 1999 with a degree in music from Humber College Toronto, Canada specializing in composition and orchestration, and minoring in piano. During the 1990s, he showcased his talent touring with the rock group Brighton Rock, and in the early 2000s, he performed as a solo singer-songwriter. His album Marionette was released by Hit Records.

As an educator, Phillip Stephen taught piano, guitar in Ottawa, Canada, and add taught music theory for 5 years at the Trebas Institute of Recording Arts in Ottawa.

His current CD, 12 Preludes for Piano, released in the spring of 2024, is available now on PSP Records.

Mark Ferguson

Jazz Pianist & Composer

Bio:

Mark Ferguson is an accomplished jazz pianist, composer, arranger, producer, and music educator. Over the years, he has had the privilege of performing with legendary artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Gil Evans, Nelson Riddle, Dionne Warwick, Natalie Cole, Tom Jones, Rob McConnell and the Boss Brass, and Manteca.

Mark is a Faculty Lecturer in Jazz and Trombone at McGill University and a Performance Instructor at Carleton University. He is also a highly sought-after jazz clinician, sharing his knowledge with high school and university students across Canada. Additionally, he frequently performs live at numerous jazz venues across Canada.

Mark’s first release with PSP Records is set for the fall of 2025.
